I Fly For Fun

I became a flight instructor in 2024 because I want to share the joy of flight with you! I picked up my flying habit in 2019 and now have over 600 hours of flight time in a dozen different aircraft type, with over 100 hours in Cessna 152, 172, 177RG, and T210. My favorite destinations are Roche and Friday Harbor, and I've flown as far as Lawrenceville, Illinois chasing an eclipse.

About Me

I'm not a full time instructor and don't have airline ambitions. My day job is in Software Engineering. I grew up in Mukilteo, just off Paine Field, and graduated from Washington State University in 2011. I live in Burien with my wife, two kids, and dog.

Services Offered

I'm authorized by BEFA to instruct members in all Basic Aircraft including the Cessna 150, 152, and 172. My rate is $75 per hour, handshake to handshake. Book me through FSP for flights from Renton (RNT) or reach out by email for nearby airports.

New Pilot Certificate

I'm available for Student, Private, Sport, and Commercial Pilot training starting from 0 hours! (Renton only.)

BEFA 6-month Checkrides

I can perform BEFA 6-month VFR Checkrides at Renton or Paine.

Night Checkout

I can perform BEFA Night checkouts, Local and Cross-Country. Or just help you with night landings!

Flight Review

I can do your FAA flight review. We can work on whatever you need to be a better pilot.
